Brian Thomas - Landscape Designer
I grew up in Milwaukee learning gardening and a love for the outdoors with my grandfather, that experience developed into a career in horticulture. Now with a family of my own, I share this knowledge and love of nature with my two young daughters.
Since 1992 I have worked diligently to build a trusting reputation and relationship with my clients going above and beyond their expectations. My ability to listen to the needs and desires of each individual involved in a landscape project allows me to creatively integrate all the necessities while still developing a unique landscape. My desire for more diverse landscapes has motivated me to seek out unknown and underused plants from dwarf conifers to native perennials and outstanding trees that provide beauty in all seasons and for decades to come.
I hold a degree in Landscape Horticulture and I am also a certified arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture and a member of the Wisconsin Arborists Association. I have completed the Master Gardener training with UW Extension. I have volunteered to lead programs at Boerner Botanical Gardens and other venues on topics that have included crabapples, grasses, and underused landscape plants. I have also done volunteer work with UW-Extension and the Master Gardner Program designing community gardens in Milwaukee.
I like to spend my free time with my children gardening, and teaching them about the environment around them. I also enjoy fishing, hiking and traveling. I look forward to helping you create and maintain your unique landscape.
